Handwritten and signed letter that refers to the death of Father Jose de Torres Perea, and the urgent need for more mission priests in Arizona country, especially in the districts of Caborca, Tubutama, and Dolores in the Valley of the Pimas, as well as for the two new missions just founded by Father Christoval de Escobar. The author also describes explorations he had hoped to make into Arizona.
